King Charles III and Queen Camilla Begin Four-Day US State Visit April 28, 2026 King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived in the United States on Monday, April 27, for a four-day state visit covering Washington, D.C., New York City, and Virginia. The trip marks the first official visit by a reigning British monarch since Queen Elizabeth II came to the US in 2007, and coincides with the 250th anniversary of the American Declaration of Independence.
